PROJECT TOGO -
WE comply with 12 of the 17
Sustainable DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Our carbon offset project,  AFFORestation of natural wood, fulfills 12 of the 17 GLOBAL GOALS of the
UN AGENDA 2030

PROJECT TOGO is based on the vision of natureOffice,
Combine climate protection with the improvement of social structures.

If you look at the map of the world, you quickly find that most climate protection projects punishably avoid one continent - Africa.

This continent deserves all of our attention.
And further - if you look at Africa, you notice that there is no country in our heads anywhere, neither positive nor negative - it actually does not take place - the country of Togo in West Africa.

No poverty - end poverty

A relevant sub-goal of PROJECT TOGO is to combat poverty on the ground. The project actively contributes to poverty reduction by creating jobs and mobilizing resources. Every contribution of the project to local education also contributes to the fight against poverty.

No hunger - end hunger, achieve food security and better nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture

The aim of the project is to provide access to safe, nutrient-rich and sufficient food, which can help to end malnutrition. The strengthening of agriculture through agroforestry and animal husbandry contributes to sustainable food production.

Health and wellbeing - Ensure a healthy life for all people of all ages and promote their wellbeing

Another sub-goal for the project is the fight against diseases, the lack of hygiene or polluted drinking water. The construction of toilet facilities and hygiene training creates awareness among the population. By drilling wells and providing water filters, the quality of the drinking water is significantly improved, which contributes to a reduction in diseases and parasites.

Quality education - Ensure inclusive, fair and quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for everyone

In addition to the construction and expansion of educational facilities for girls and boys, adult education is also an important task for the project. Training centers for young adults create a sustainable opportunity for development. By networking educational institutions in Germany and Togo, new knowledge can be acquired and existing knowledge shared.

Gender equality - achieving gender equality and self-determination for all women and girls

The project will not tolerate discrimination against women and girls and all forms of violence against women and girls. In addition, specific training courses for women and projects for women are offered to ensure the participation of women and their equal opportunities in assuming leadership roles.

Clean water and sanitation - Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for everyone

As part of the project, the regions are supported in their water and sanitation by building toilet facilities, drilling wells and providing water filters. Buffer zones for all standing and flowing waters are taken into account when planting the trees.

Affordable and clean energy - Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and contemporary energy for everyone

The project tries to provide general access to affordable and reliable energy. Various project approaches are used to identify and establish a permanent solution. Right from the start, renewable energies have been used. The management of energy efficiency and the promotion of investments in energy infrastructure and clean energy technologies are also taken into account.

Decent work and economic growth - Promote sustainable, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all

Whether in permanent employment or as part of community work contracts with the villagers. PROJECT TOGO secures work for everyone involved, which is paid above average. All employees are covered by social and health insurance. Training for first aid and occupational safety increases safety at work.

Responsible consumption and production patterns - Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

In all activities, PROJECT TOGO takes account of responsible consumption and sustainable production patterns. The reduction of waste generation or the use of natural, self-made means to combat plant diseases and pests in the nursery are just 2 examples.

Measures in climate protection - Take immediate measures to combat climate change and its effects

PROJECT TOGO is designed and certified as a climate protection project, i.e. it also contributes sustainably to global climate protection. Around 396,000 t CO2e are bound over a period of around 30 years.

Life on land - protect, restore and promote their sustainable use, manage forests sustainably, combat desertification, stop and reverse soil degradation and stop biodiversity loss

PROJECT TOGO is a natural forest project, i.e. the selection of tree species and planting of seedlings is done in such a way that a natural ecosystem is formed. By protecting the areas within the scope of the project, in addition to natural rejuvenation, the settlement of native fauna can be promoted.

Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions - Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, give everyone access to justice, and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels

PROJECT TOGOis against all forms of violence, abuse and exploitation of children. Corruption and bribery have no place in and around PROJECT TOGO. PROJECT TOGO actively evaluates approaches to reduce child labor in Togo.
